THE LAST QUARTER MOON:
Emerging from the shadows of the Full Moon, the Last Quarter phase reveals a waning crescent in the early morning sky, symbolizing closure and transition. With half of its surface illuminated on the opposite side as the First Quarter, this phase represents the final stages of release and surrender. In Celtic mythology, the Last Quarter moon was associated with the goddess Cerridwen, who presided over the cauldron of transformation, brewing potent elixirs of wisdom and renewal. It's a time to surrender to the natural rhythms of life, to trust in the process of endings and new beginnings, and to prepare for the cycle of rebirth that awaits.
