The war on drugs: A Means To Snuff Out The Competition...

The CIA has an extended history of drug trafficking. Case after case indicates that the CIA it not so much interested in preventing the illegal drug trade, but actually finding ways to use this drug trade to their benefit, both financially and otherwise. In exchange for information on rival drug cartels the CIA has been known to grant immunity to import large quantities of drugs across the borders and into the United States.

Drug lords and country officials have made claims citing that the CIA is significantly involved with and completely controls a number of the major drug cartels. In brief, U.S. tax dollars are transferred to the CIA to fund and arm cartels with the means necessary to transfer drugs illegally into the United States.

Many people also point to the United States laws against drugs as a driving cause as to why the CIA is able to operate an illegal drug cartel. Through keeping out free market competition and making drugs illegal within the United States it is a lot easier for the CIA to covertly traffic drugs and maintain the high prices without the risk of any real competition...
