Lloyd Anthony Pye Jr., an American author and investigator of the
paranormal, gained widespread recognition for his advocacy surrounding
the Starchild skull. He fervently contended that it constituted
evidence of a human-alien hybrid, despite subsequent DNA analysis
confirming its origins as that of a human male. Pye also championed the
belief in the existence of cryptic creatures like Bigfoot and proposed
the theory of extraterrestrial involvement in human evolution.
During the late 1990s, Pye acquired an unusually shaped skull
from a couple in El Paso, Texas, positing it as potentially
extraterrestrial in nature. Subsequent DNA tests, however, established
its human male origins. Notably, American clinical neurologist Steven
Novella asserted that the skull belonged to a child afflicted with
hydrocephalus. In 2009, Pye showcased a replica of the skull during a
lecture tour across Europe, including a presentation at the Leeds
Exopolitics Expo.
